Q. Where can I find a pink hat?

A. Go shopping!  Pink Hatters just love to shop!  Pink hats are found everywhere so it shouldn't be too hard to find one! If you're feeling creative, dye a lighter colored one pink.  Shopping on-line is also a great way to find a pink hat.

Q. Does my outfit have to be entirely lavender?

A. Heavens NO! A lavender shirt with any pink slacks or skirt –or switch it and wear a pink shirt and lavender slacks or skirt. A lavender blouse with a any color skirt or pair of pants is just fine. Some wear lavender T-shirts with jeans while others wear lavender dresses, with pink boas and shoes. Wear what your group decides is best for you and is most comfortable!

Q. What kind of events do Pink Hat Society chapters do?

A. Whatever you want to do!  Shopping, visiting a museum, lunch/dinner at a local restaurant, a trip to an outlet mall, a beach party, a barbeque, a slumber party, tea at a fancy restaurant, a charity event, going to the movies – be creative & simply have fun.  Just be sure to wear your full regalia – pink hats and lavender clothing.

Q. How often should the chapter meet?

A. Due to other responsibilities, chapters generally meet monthly. But, your chapter should determine the frequency of your meetings – whatever suits you best.

Q. How many members may I have in my chapter?

A. Suggested chapter size is whatever size you’d like it to be. Just note that larger chapters are more difficult when making reservations at restaurants and organizing events. However, not all members can attend all meetings, so having more members gives you more members at each event.
